Cats an Coyotes

Why duz that sound like sum kinda rock an roll band or sumfin? I dunno. It's whut I been barkin at lately.
Lemme tell yu bout it.

The uther nite, Me an Daddy wuz outside. It wuz dark. That's why there ain't no piccies. But I heard it an saw it.
A cat. Snoopin round out front where it don't 'sposed to be. Not one of our cats either. Our cats wuz safe tucked in the house or garage. This wuz a stray cat or maybe feral cat. Whutever it wuz, I barked it real good an it took off runnin.
Goodby cat!

An then a couple o' times I've seen a coyote runnin in the field cross frum my place. I send up the Red Alert bark alarm. Mommy lets us go outside an we keep barkin that critter while it runs passed (or is that past, yu know I like to use the rite gramma) my place an it's long gone.
Goodby coyote!
It all happens so fast, no piccies get taked.

Here's hopin yu have sumfin good to bark at today!

  3. Wow! What a dire situation. We're glad you barked them away!

We are familiar with the Red Alert bark. Mom calls it my big boy bark and it's reserved for only the most dangerous invaders, like the UPS guy. It's usually proceeded by a high pitched awooooooooooooo!

    Good work Zoe!

  10. Zaidie are right. It are "past" in dis instance..... ya uses passed when ya is handing bacon around (hint, hint, Momma)... as in "Momma passed da bacon platter to Finley".... and also when da air gets all polluted... as in"Whitley passed some stinky gas"... although lately it are Angelique who likes to do dat one!!
Zaidie-- whut are wrong wiff barkin' doorbells on da tv? We duz it all da time here, it keeps us in practice fur when our doorbell ackchewly rings!! And besides, it wakes da peeps up and dey needs dat since it are winter and borin' and cold and stuff, dey tends to go into hibernashun and zone out a lot...

    2. Well, that place was empty and vacant for about 3 years, and the grass was tall and the yard was unkempt, perfect fur the wild beasties around here, and the coyotes were having a feast on them...rabbits and groundhogs, and other varmints, etc.
And now the furmily there has their own kitty and pup, and they did have chickens and goats...anyways they have 8 kids so its a tad noisy fur coyotes, BOL! ( Though I dare say they might have tried to snag a hen or two...)

And I get to bark at that kitty next door and his puppy sisfur,a nd all the cars that come through there, and..Barkety woof, bark aroo!
