She's takin ofur!

Yikes pals! Ya know ofur on the Dogster thing it's all 'bout us. But ofur here on this blog thingy, did ya know? There's peepoles that type away on their own blogs? I know, weird. What in the world would peepoles have to type 'bout?

Oh and jus' a side note. Ofur on the Dogster/Catster ya can't bark (or meow) no bad words. Yeah, we been sinsored ofur there. But here! Don't nobuddy do that. Now, I'm not the kind of pup who uses those bad words. I keep things clean for the kiddies, ya know.
But look! I can bark #%&*#$  and  (*^&%  and efun  @!$#%^&!  Bol!

Anywho, back to what I was gonna bark to ya 'bout. Mommy is takin ofur my doggy bloggy thingy! She thinks sum of yur moms wanna axfurly See sum of her crochet junk. Yeah, she lives in a dream world where peepoles axfurly Like her and think she is innerestin.
So she was workin on a bag thing to felt. She got it felted. You shoulda heard her ofur at the washer machine. She would let the thing slosh 'round in the hot water. She would pull it out and look at it. She would put it back in the hot water to slosh 'round sum more. She was sqeein and ohhin and awwin. It was sickenin.
And now she wants to show a picture of it. It's not efun sewed up yet. An' she needs to find "jus' the right leaf button" to sew on it. But here it is. Her latest (second) feltin project.

She luvs the colors. She luvs the size it shrinky dinky down to. She luvs the wool yarn she used to crochet the thing.
The madness nefur ends!

Now with this feltin stuff, she hasta use animal fiber like wool, alpaca, cashmere, etc. (I am learnin Way Too Much 'bout this stuff). She crochets sumfin. Then she puts the thing in hot water and lets it splish and splash 'round for awhile. When it comes out, it is all shrinky dinked. Toadally amazin, huh?
Yeah, I'm like *yawn*.

But this is what I've been wunnerin 'bout.
So if a sheep, that's where they get the wool from, lives where it's hot and it is out in the hot rain and then starts runnin 'round and bumpin into othur sheeps, does it felt itself?

I dunno and I jus' hope I never do.

  2. My typist is not really sure what a felting project is. She does like the colors in that finished project and thinks your momma should post more of her pictures. Oh, and of course there must be more pictures of adorable you Zoe!

    1. Hey Buddy, tell your Mom to look at the giant hat Mommy crocheted in my Who Lives Here entry.
Then it's all shrunk up in my Yarn Craziness entry. Yep, same hat! Feltin is makin sumfin in a animal fiber yarn and on porpoise shrinkin it to the right size. She is luvin it! Then there is sumfin called needle feltin she hasn't tried yet.

  6. Oh no, Zoe...Momma just squealed when she saw your Momma's bag. She dunno how to crochet or knit or anything, so she's all "Ooooooh, how talented!" She says "That bag is absolutely ADORABLE!!!" I'm so sorry if Momma is encouraging your Momma...

  7. Crikey ... I'm with you Zoe .... Yaaaaaaawwwwwwnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!
My Mum, however thinks your Momma is VERY clever and she really likes that bag thing and the colours. Fair dinkum what a big fat Yaawwwnnnnn!!!
I think your doing too much wunnerin, Zoe! We've got lots of sheep out here. Trust me they're not worth wunnerin about. Drongos the whole lot of them!!!!!! No brains at all ... They can't make a decision by themselves. I have no idea how they survive. They even need dogs to babysit them so the dingoes don't eat 'em. They do make good wool for your Momma to make all those great things though.

    1. And Charlie, it gets worser and worser. When Daddy gets too tired to work at his job anymore, in a couple of years, we is all gonna move to a farm. No foolin. And Mommy could efun get sum of her furry own sheepies and junk.

      Argh!

  8. I hash to warn yew, dun lets Georgie-Cat see dat!! If eFUR I saw something that looked like a furry nice kitty play-toy-bed combo dealie, that ish it! Makin' happy paws on dat would be so much fun - so if yew sees Georgie-Cat anywhere near it, try to sit on it furry, furry fast so yew can hide it fur yer Mom. Or if yew really hates its, you could try tearin' it up wif yer teef, and then she might get the hint that dis blawg ish fur YEW and not a craftin' blawg fur her - humans can get so out of hand, sometimes! It ish furry PUURdy though, but dun tells her I said so, because then it'll only encourage her to try to take oFUR yer blawg and that would be ROOD!

    1. Humphrey, the bag is too small to crawl in, but yeah, it would be a comfy thing to lay on. And get cat hairs on.
I don't think any of us pets will be able to get furry close to that bag.
Really, Mommy needs to get her own dern bloggy thingy and leave mine 'lone!

    2. Honestly, nothin' ish too small to lay on and I does that all dah time wif my catnip mousies, especially if I really loves dem and it alsho looks furry nice fur getting yer claws into and having a really good scratchin' session, if yew ish a cat, dat ish. Yer Mom could totally make a craft blawg on here, if she mades a sub blog to yers, but yew gots to tell her if she does that, that yers comes FURST. The whole yarn craftin' feltin' knittin' crochetin' addiction thing gots to come second to YEW - put yer paw down about it and do some of yer best barkin' and make sure she unnerstands! I ish really dismayed to learn humans blawg pn here about dere borin' stuff - who would want to read such foolishness?! My brofur and I say paws down to dat idea!

  14. You should be happy that you momma is staying busy making the baggy thing for her and hasn't tried to make a matching one for you - BOL, BOL.

Momma says she can't wait for you and your family to move down our way because she has a book on how to knit clothes for dogs and she can't understand any of it but knows your momma will know exactly what they are talking about - I better go find a nice hiding place now...
